Pawsome Stamps: Elegant Ornaments Card

Hello and happy Saturday! Today I am sharing a super clean and simple card made using a newly released stamp set: Deck the Halls.

I began by using Ranger Tim Holtz's distress oxides in Evergreen Bough, Pine Needles, and Black Soot to blend out a background leaving the center area lighter and the edges darker.

Then I gold embossed the ornaments and the "Merry Christmas" sentiment and added some gold sequins from Pawsome Stamp's Fall Festival Sequins mix.

And that's it! This card really was that simple! The card front is adhered to kraft colored card base. 

Isn't it pretty though? This is the first dark green background I've blended and I really like the look of it, especially with the gold. I hope you do too!
