Pretty Pink Posh: September Blog Hop!

For my card today, I used the new Fall Mug Additions paired with a background created with the lovely Deco Leaves stencil and the Stitched Torn Rectangles die and a sentiment from the Sentiments Strips: Fall stamp set.

I started with the die cut of the adorable fox and stem from the Fall Mug Additions and paired them with the mug from Winter Mug Dies. The mug was ink-blended with Chipped Sapphire distress oxide and the rest of the dies were colored with a mix of Copics (C) and Ohuhus.

Fox orange: Y110, YR240, E11(C), BR3, YR5, NG09

Fox pink ears: RV180, RV130

Fox pink cheeks: R30(C), R000(C)

Berries: R7, R4, R2, R1

Stem: BR96(C), BR93(C)

Coffee brown: E43(C), E41(C)

Once I finished coloring the images, I pieced them together and adhered them. Next to create the background, I used the Deco Leaves stencil and lightly blended with Concord & 9th ink in Wheat from the center fading out the the edges on a piece of white A2 sized cardstock. Then I used the largest die from the Stitched Torn Rectangles to cut it out before adhering it to a white A2 card front.

Lastly, I stamped a sentiment from the Sentiment Strips: Fall stamp set onto a cute die from the Sentiment Strips dies. Both the mug and the sentiment were then propped up on the background using foam tape for some dimension.
