Reverse Confetti Countdown to Confetti Day 2

Hello friends and welcome to Day 2 of Countdown to Confetti! Today our focus is the stamp set Retro Holiday and coordinating Retro Holiday Confetti CutsBe sure to read to the end for your chance to win some prizes!

This set is super simple, but also super versatile. For my first project, I made a couple tags by pairing the set with the Ornament Confetti Cuts.

For each tag, I die cut the ornament outline twice in black and sandwiched some kraft cardstock in between.

Then I played along with the retro theme and used Ranger Tim Holtz distress oxides in muted colors, Crackling Campfire and Evergreen Bough, to stamp out a background before adding a bold black sentiment on top.

For final touches I stamped and die cut some retro asterisks in matching colors to adhere on the edges and added some twine. Pretty simple overall, but I think they turned out pretty cute!

For my next project, I paired the Layered Joy Confetti Cuts with the Brilliance Cover Panel Confetti Cuts and added a couple asterisks from the Retro Holiday Confetti Cuts for decoration.

First I die cut the cover panel in white cardstock and added some gold watercolor splatter. Then I die cut the word "joy" in gold cardstock with a vellum shadow and propped it up.

For the final touch, I die cut some retro asterisks in light blue cardstock and tucked them around the letters. I love how the colors go together and hope you do too!
