Pretty Pink Posh: August IG Hop!

Hi friends! If you came from Instagram, I hope you are enjoying the hop!

For my card I am using 3 newly released stamp sets! Halloween Critters paired with a fence and tiny ghosts from Halloween Borders, and a sentiment and bats from Halloween Envelopes. The grass is from the Nature Essentials dies.

To create my card, I first stamped and colored the critters using a mix of Copics and Ohuhus. Then die cut them using coordinating dies.

Next I ink blended a background using close to every blue distress oxide I own! Tumbled glass, Salvaged Patina, Broken China, Mermaid Lagoon, Peacock Feathers, Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot.

Then I stamped the larger fence from Halloween Borders near the bottom of the card. The larger fence is an outline so you can color it any color you like, but I wanted it to be a silhouette so I colored it in with a black marker.

Then I die cut a couple pieces of grass from the Nature Essentials dies, colored them using black distress oxide, and adhered them to the bottom of my card panel.

To finish the background off, I added some black splatter using black watercolor and white splatter using a gel pen. I also stamped little bats around for more interest.

Finally I propped up the critters in the center of the card using some foam tape, surrounded them with a few tiny ghosts that I fussy cut out of one of the Halloween borders and then added a sentiment in the corner which I heat embossed in white on black cardstock. The card front is propped up on a white card base.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you like my card! Make sure to enter the giveaway by hopping along and commenting on Instagram: @prettypinkposh @stefkloh

  1. Where do you list the Copic colors for your cards? So hard to find!

    1. If I have them listed it is obvious. Unfortunately I don’t always have time to list them out. If you see a combo you like and message me on Instagram I send a photo of the markers I used.
