Pretty Pink Posh: March Blog Hop!

Hi friends! For my card, I used the cutest chicks from Spring Chicks Stamp Set (and a little ladybug from the Spring Jar Stamp Set) to create a happy after-rain party. Who doesn't love playing in puddles? I colored the images with a mix of Copics and Ohuhus, cut them out using coordinating dies, and propped them onto an ink-blended background panel using foam tape.

The background was blended using distress oxides in Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass. And for the sentiment, I used the word part of the Happy Spring Shadow Dies to cut and stack a few layers of white cardstock. I love how clean it looks against the bright blue sky!

The background panel was trimmed down to be slightly smaller than a slimline and propped up onto the base using more foam tape. And of course for final touches, I added some highlight using a white gel pen.
